Kerry is shortlisted in the Liturgical category of this year’s British Composer Awards, which are being held on December 9th. Her ‘Salve Regina’, commissioned by the Merton College Choir, is her sixth shortlisted work in as many years; she has won three times. Click here for all shortlist details!

Kerry is one of three Musicians in Residence visiting China in 2015/16. She will be building relationships with musicians in the city of Zhengzhou in the Henan region, and creating new, theatrical/storytelling music which explores the trickster fox in European and Chinese folklore. Kerry’s new choral work, ‘dream of the rood: fragments’ was premiered at the LFCCM on May 13th, and was broadcast live on BBC Radio 3’s Choral Evensong. Kerry did her own translation of the very early English poem and used some of the original language. Click here to listen to the work (until June 15th).

Kerry’s new work ‘NHS’ for the London Sinfonietta (chamber ensemble) was premiered in their ‘Notes to a New Government’ event at the Southbank Centre on May 9th.
